This November, Red Bull Sound Select is going national with an End of Uni tour!
Visiting Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth and Adelaide, each event will host an incredible calibre of talent, handpicked by an exciting array of curators to help students celebrate the end of exams and start of summer.
After teasing audiences with two very brief showcase club performances in Sydney and Melbourne in 2011, Australian soul & r&b fans will be ecstatic to learn that Eric Benét will finally return to Australia for his first ever concert tour, with band in tow, this November. Confession: I’m a fan of artists covering songs by other artists. Of course, it’s rare to find a good rendition of certain songs especially if you LOVE the original.
But sometimes (rarely), I’ll come across a cover that sounds better than the original.
Case in point: Canadian Dallas Green has covered New Zealand’s Bic Runga for his latest EP of covers.
