Rapper-producer Oddisee doesn’t need a whole lot of words to make a statement. But with his latest record, ‘The Good Fight’ it’s the words that he’s used to tell stories through his lyrics and songwriting that really make an impact.
Check out when he visited the NPR office recently and find out details of when he’ll be visiting our shores.
Last weekend, following the performance of Ta-ku’s sold out show at GoodGod, I rushed over to the Civic Underground to catch hip hop artists Oddisee and Olivier Daysoul perform live, which definitely made for an overall night.

This could possibly be the best tour news announced for 2013. Yep, I said it. I know it’s only February, but I’m pretty excited about this:
ODDISEE and OLIVIER DAYSOUL.
Two soulful cats from the US are heading our way down under in March for an exclusive Australian/New Zealand tour promoting Oddisee’s album, People Hear What They See, which features Olivier throughout the record.
A friend of mine posted the original version of this track on his Facebook page about a week ago and within the comments, he also posted this acoustic version. I absolutely fell in love with the sound of this particular version, so I thought I would share it with you.
Oddisee is a Sudanese MC, whose music you guys should definitely check out.
