It Was All About The Details in Still Still Studio’s Resort ’19 Collection

Combining experimentation with feminine designs, STILL STILL STUDIO created a Resort 2019 collection for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia this year that was both artistic and practical. 
There was a very present influence of previous eras in their designs, blending in the roaring ’20s, and the swinging ’60s with late Victorian styles and a dash of the ’80s. How does that work? Click through to find out.

Drawing inspiration from Peter Weir’s ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’, [designer] Helen O’Connor presented a modern, timeless and playful collection this year for THURLEY at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. ‘Fable’ featured a variety of techniques in beautiful fabrics which is sure to grow THURLEY’s loyal international following even more!

Pereira Fitzgerald’s Debut Collection at MBFWA Embraced Femininity & Confidence

Founded by Bella Pereira and Gemma Fitzgerald in 2015 with a high regard for sustainable and local manufacturing, PEREIRA FITZGERALD presented a Resort ’19 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia this year that was unapologetically feminine, presenting a revised take on elegant yet playful dressing, with a minimalist’s touch.

Blair Archibald Presented One of The Only Menswear Collections at MBFWA This Year

BLAIR ARCHIBALD made his debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia this year with his Resort 2019 collection, ‘The Last Knitting Mill’. Models stomped down the runway, like an army of menswear and androgynous womenswear inspired in part by Aussie merino wool, which was rather fitting as the colour palette of the collection was clearly military inspired.
