Swedish electro pop outfit Elliphant, the stage name of singer Ellinor Olovsdotter was recently in town for an Australian tour and last week she played her only gig in Melbourne at the State Library for Melbourne Music Week.

Up until a few weeks ago, I didn’t even know who Adelaide-based, eccentric producer Oisima was, but after seeing him live at Melbourne Music Week, all of that has changed.
Oisima has spent the majority of 2014 working on his debut album, ‘Nicaragua Nights’, and after signing with Create/Control records, he has released the single ‘Sun Of Truth‘, which features the astonishing vocals of Mei Sarasati.

Housse De Racket were recently in Australia playing shows in Melbourne and Sydney. My brother and I managed to catch their performance in Sydney, which was also their last show of the year.
Singing tunes in both French and English, Housse De Racket is a band you should keep on your radar in the future.
