After his recent tour of Australia, electronic soul singer / producer James Blake has put out a music video for ‘Can’t Believe The Way We Flow’ from his fantastically put together ‘Assume‘ album that was released at the beginning of this year.
Our team had the pleasure of seeing the English multi-instrumentalist at one of his sold-out ‘Assume Form Tour’ sideshows at Enmore Theatre, the week after his weekend performance North Byron Parklands for Splendour in the Grass 2019.

Splendour In The Grass has (unsurprisingly) sold out for another year, but there’s thankfully still plenty of sideshow action going down about the place for all of you snoozers who missed out on tix.
So far, we’ve got extra-curricular touring action announced from the likes of Foals, Catfish & The Bottlemen, James Blake, The Streets, Fidlar and more.

Starring Natalie Portman, the video was shot just a few days before she gave birth last month. She swims underwater and luxuriates in bed in a series of moody black-and-white shots. Watch it now.
This year’s line-up for Splendour in the Grass was major with headliners The Strokes, The Cure, The Avalanches and James Blake performing at the three-day festival in Byron Bay. We didn’t manage to grab any tickets to said festival, but we were lucky enough to be invited to a couple of sideshows.
One of the biggest names we could have hoped for was James Blake.

Long-missed Australian outfit The Avalanches, responsible for “Since I Left You” will play together live for the first time in years. The dates this year are July 22–24, and it will again be held at the North Byron Parklands.
From other sides of the world, music’s finest from Britain and Brooklyn come together as Ellie Goulding and Angel Haze team up to cover James Blake’s ‘Life Round Here’.
