Tula: Wicked Game

5 girls.

All vocalists from Sweden but currently based in Berlin.

Now imagine them singing a little ode to heartbreak via a very popular cover.

Confession: Every time I see that IAMNOBODI has released something new on Soundcloud, I immediately add it to my favourites and usually, because I’m at work and have to get back to finishing a task, I will forget about it and won’t get to listen to said tune(s) until I remember to – days later.

I completely slept on this track. 10 days later and I am finally able to sit down and write about it.

I <3 you for this one. That's all. Peace.

IAMNOBODI: Needs & Wants & Bad Habits

IAMNOBODI has done it again with his latest instrumental EP.

The man can do no wrong. Seriously.

Fusing together hip hop, jazz, and soul with two of the biggest RnB divas in the game, ‘Needs & Wants & Bad Habits’ is a record you need to listen to – RIGHT NOW.

The best part? It’s FREE – but if you want to support the man, please do so via his bandcamp. You won’t regret it.

Ben Bada Boom: Destiny’s Child – Emotion (Refix)

Germany seems to have a lot of hidden talent in their country and slowly, but surely we’re starting to find out a little more about them.

Off the back of our recent interview with rising producer, IAMNOBODI, comes a release from fellow German producer and artist Ben Bada Boom.

Check out his re-fix of Destiny’s Child’s rendition of ‘Emotion’.

An Interview with IAMNOBODI

Nothing beats some good, chilled out music to immerse yourself in after a crazy day. And believe me, I’ve been experiencing that pretty much on a daily basis lately.

Although his base work is rooted in hip hop, you’ll hear many other sounds and styles blended into the work of IAMNOBODI.

Each time I listen to his work – in particular, his debut record ‘Elevated’ – I am able to drown out the noise and distractions of the world around me, focusing on what really matters in that moment – the music.

IAMNOBODI is also the latest individual I’ve managed to gain some insight from. And within that insight, he’s left me feeling rather inspired.

Record Review: IAMNOBODI – Elevated

‘Elevated’ by German producer IAMNOBODI was released at the beginning of the month and I admit, I’ve been sitting on it for awhile.

Not that I haven’t been listening to it, because believe me, I can’t get enough of it – honestly.

The album as a whole, is, without a doubt, at its best when enjoyed straight through, but there are definitely still a couple of standout tracks, that I would happily add to my ultimate playlist for the upcoming season of Summer.

Give ‘Elevated’ a spin and you might consider doing the same.

IAMNOBODI: Maputo Dance

Another week, another Soulection release.

Founder Joe Kay is holding it down over in LA with all the talented artists/producers he currently has on the label’s roster and the abundance of releases and freebies that he’s been uploading over the internet airwaves, but I’m not complaining – not one bit.

The latest in question is IAMNOBODI whom will be releasing his album, Elevated, on October 1st.

But until then, we’ve been given a little taste with the single ‘Maputo Dance’.

IAMNOBODI: Beyoncé x André 3000 – Party (Remix)

This tune has been on repeat for me since I heard it last week and honestly, it just gets me in the mood to go out, hence it should be the perfect track to kick off your Saturday evening.

Beyoncé and André 3000 remixed by IAMNOBODI.

I’m not going to say anymore than that and just let you listen.

Jelani: Aaliyah – Rock The Boat (Remix)

21-year-old producer Jelani from Germany is currently working on an upcoming Aaliyah compilation which will be released in early June later this year, and this is the first taste from said compilation.

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Aaliyah, and if you’re one of those individuals, you should definitely check out this remix of ‘Rock The Boat’.

Rest In Peace.
