Sometime last year, the annual Red Bull Music Academy took over New York City for a month-long run of rare performances, informative lectures, and groundbreaking concerts held throughout the city’s five boroughs.
During that month, Red Bull teamed up with esteemed director Raf Schmerberg, who shot and documented the series of shows and lectures in an effort to piece together a full-length film simply about making music.

Janssen Powers is passionate about telling stories through photos and film and his latest project definitely shows that passion.
Powers was recently given the opportunity to film the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and the result is an incredible and moving experience illustrating a story of destruction and resilience.
