Stanley Donwood: The Panic Office

The Panic Office, a full-scale exhibition showcasing the artwork of long-term Radiohead collaborator Stanley Donwood, is heading down under – and kicks off this weekend!

Presented by Semi-Permanent and Carriageworks, The Panic Office is touted as an interactive and retrospective exhibition that will take over Sydney’s Carriageworks from May 21 – June 6, boasting over 5,000 pieces of artwork in a purpose built 6,000 sqm space. Craziness!

What I Learnt At The David Jones Masterclass

Last week, I took a chance and entered a competition to win a spot to attend “The Fashion Project” – a Masterclass hosted by David Jones – and lo and behold, I actually won!

With a panel of different views including blogger Margaret Zhang, PR phenomenon Montarna McDonald, designers Carmen Duigan and Leigh Hawkes, and stylist Kelvin Harries, it was a very inspiring Masterclass learning about how to make it in the fashion/creative industry.

2014 CARBON Festival

Kicking off at the end of the month on 29-30 March is one of my favourite annual events, hosted by the awesome team over at Melbourne’s ACCLAIM magazine.

CARBON Festival explores the landscape of style, culture and creativity. With forums and panel discussions from leaders in these fields, the two-day event is one of Australia’s premier contemporary festivals.

This year’s CARBON festival will take place at the Storey Hall Auditorium at RMIT University.

An Interview with Emma Mulholland

Continuing with The 5 to 9 Life’s collaboration with ABSOLUT, the opportunity presented itself to interview fashion designer, Emma Mulholland for The Blue Room campaign.
