From one artist to the next.
Our latest interview from the After Dark Adventures series is with talented artist and illustrator, Chris Yee.
Mixing in America’s pop culture and their numerous stereotypes with mythological characters and various ‘menaces’, Chris Yee’s art and mind lives in a parallel universe compared to the rest of us.
Get to know him better via our exclusive interview with the artist.
The talented illustrator that is Chris Yee is releasing a 124-page book showcasing his best work from the past year.
Sharing the same title as his recent solo exhibition, ‘Menace’ sees Yee putting his best foot forward displaying his natural talent.
Along with the release of the book, Yee will also be releasing a limited run of tees and prints in collaboration with apparel label, Low End Theory.
Show up early to avoid disappointment.
The book launch kicks off at Capsule in Central Park tomorrow night from 6pm.
Babekühl are celebrating another year of manipulated imagery. Recently, the design trio’s work has included a concept store, a ltd. edition tee for Adidas and an endless stream of record sleeves for all your favourite artists (including Jagwar Ma and Light Year).
The Sydney-based design studio are throwing a Christmas party next week and you’re invited.
If you dream about living in your own ‘world’ one day, you might be able to relate to the work of Chris Yee and the concept behind his debut solo exhibition: Menace.
Yee’s world is based around 90’s music, ink and misinterpreted Americana.
