Common Performed At The White House for the NPR Tiny Desk Concert Series

by

Common delivered some spoken word truths this week as part of President Obama’s inaugural ‘South By South Lawn’ festival. The “Glory” rapper also met up with NPR to film the very first White House Tiny Desk Concert where he performed songs that provided important messages to the viewer.
Within this short 20-minute concert, Commons was able to touch grounds on the racial battle Black Americans are still facing, feminism and lastly, a song about his father who had passed away to cancer in 2014.
This is a MUST WATCH.
