Amin Payne: Jay Dee – Don’t Stop Feat. Frank (Rework)

by

It’s come to the end of 2013 – I can’t believe it’s December already – and everyone is starting to think about what they’re going to be doing or where they’ll be next year.

New Zealand born producer Amin Payne has had a massive year and yesterday he decided to top off a great 2013 with one last final gift to us all – a free download of his latest tune – a rework of J Dilla’s ‘Don’t Stop’.

Ben Bada Boom: Destiny’s Child – Emotion (Refix)

by

Germany seems to have a lot of hidden talent in their country and slowly, but surely we’re starting to find out a little more about them.

Off the back of our recent interview with rising producer, IAMNOBODI, comes a release from fellow German producer and artist Ben Bada Boom.

Check out his re-fix of Destiny’s Child’s rendition of ‘Emotion’.

Condensed Milk Presents: J Dilla Tribute

by

For the second year running, join Condensed Milk at The Evelyn to celebrate the life and creations of J Dilla who brought us some pretty damn amazing and inspiring music throughout his lifetime.

An audio-visual tribute to one of the world’s loved and missed recording artists.

A special treat is also being offered for the first 100 people to walk through the door and make a donation, with all donations on the night will going to the J Dilla Foundation.

Amin PaYnE: Prototype [Amin PaYnE Re-Flip]

by

It’s still Valentine’s Day somewhere in the world, and as a little gift, here’s a new tune from Amin PaYnE.

Gifted to his girl, PaYnE remixed and re-flipped Andre 3000’s ‘Prototype’.

You’ll want to press play on this one.

Oddisee & Olivier Daysoul: “People Hear What They See” Australia / New Zealand Tour

by

This could possibly be the best tour news announced for 2013. Yep, I said it. I know it’s only February, but I’m pretty excited about this:

ODDISEE and OLIVIER DAYSOUL.

Two soulful cats from the US are heading our way down under in March for an exclusive Australian/New Zealand tour promoting Oddisee’s album, People Hear What They See, which features Olivier throughout the record.

With an impressive line-up featuring electronic music’s best from all around the world, including Flying Lotus, The Gaslamp Killer, Theo Parrish, and Slow Magic, this is one festival I wish I could attend.
