Two new faces in the Australian fashion industry come in the form of Rachel Motteram and Jameed Zalfan with their pink, fluffy, glitterific and embellished designs via their label Dypsnea.

MBFWA: CS Edit x Kirrily Johnston Collaboration Hits The Spot

by

As I’ve admitted previously, I wasn’t familiar with a lot of the designers of the shows that I had been invited to but there were a handful that I knew and were excited about seeing.

The collaboration between Cooper St and Kirrily Johnston was at the top of my list and I’m happy to report, it exceeded my expectations!

MBFWA: New Generation Designers Show Us What They’ve Got

by

The fashion industry is cut-throat. It’s all about hustle, hustle, hustle – even if it’s just to grab a seat in the front row.

Confused? Intrigued? A bit of both, perhaps?

That was my reaction too.
Read on to find out what was discussed.

This lead to a a great view of the models as they walked out onto their runway, strutting Wang Yutao’s unique designs. 😉

by

Founded in 2011, Sydney label IXIAH was founded by young designer Krystel Davis.

IXIAH’s distinctive design is known for their clever twist on classic and on-trend tailoring, with intricate detailing and unique design.

And these theories were put into practice on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia this year.
