Jay-Z and Kanye West: Ni**as in Paris (Official Music Video)

Directed by Kanye West, the music video for ‘Ni**as in Paris’ was officially released yesterday.

The video isn’t that great compared to the song, but if you missed out on their “Watch The Throne” tour (which, let’s face it, most of us did!), then you can catch up via this video.

M.I.A: Bad Girls (Official Music Video)

She’s done it again. M.I.A released the official visuals to her new single over the weekend. The visual concept of ‘Bad Girls’ definitely matches the vibe of the song. This girl definitely knows how to keep things fresh in the music world. Check it out.

Like A Version: Matt Corby

Former Australian Idol finalist turned indie rock artist Matt Corby headed into the triple j studios last Friday for a very special “Live at the Wireless”. Check out some powerful performances of his hit single ‘Brother’ and a cover of a track by The Black Keys.

Birdy: Skinny Love (cover)

Birdy has been around for sometime, but I’m only just discovering her now and thank goodness I have!

The girl from the UK can definitely hold her own, showing that she can sing powerful and effective covers from some of the best artists out there.

Miles Kane

Last night at the Arctic Monkeys gig, I discovered a new act: Miles Kane.

Hailing from the UK, this talented and energetic man had the crowd going crazy and dancing along to his songs, some of which were reminiscent of that old 60s rock vibe. I loved it, my best friend loved it, and I hope you will too!

*Disclaimer: this is not a concert review. Just a post about discovering some new music.

Cris Cab: One Thing

New artist Cris Cab drops his first single ‘One Thing’ which is produced by his mentor Pharrell Williams. Definitely a track to chill to during Summer.
