Bondi Born’s Resort ’22 Collection Popped Against Sydney’s Iconic Harbour

Sydney turned it on today with its blue skies and rays of sunshine affecting those of us wearing black, providing the perfect setting for the BONDI BORN runway show along the dockside of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at The Rocks.

Flowing fabrics set amongst the beautiful Sydney Harbour, BONDI BORN showcased models walking the runway during the Afterpay Australian Fashion Week Resort ’22 Collection.

Inspired by contemporary Australian style and excellence, BONDI BORN, create elegant, sophisticated swimwear & apparel using quality the finest fabrics focusing on premium craftsmanship. BONDI BORN insist on sustainability and ethics in sourcing fabric for sustainable certification.

Their Resort ’22 collection cultivated a range of vibrant colours that, while punchy and enigmatic, were also ever so slightly muted, allowing them to marry into the world of non-neutral neutrals. Think fuchsia, papaya and boysenberry as a colour palette that made the designs absolutely pop against the iconic Sydney Harbour.

They’re known for their body-loving, sculptural cuts, and was one of the first to offer minimalist, monochromatic, luxury swimsuits. Now, their collections encompass a full resort offering (including, today, footwear by Sydney-based slide-darlings Mara & Mine) – throw-over trousers, halter maxis, matching separates and beach-to-bar dresses, citrus prints and breezy jumpsuits and separates, all with that uniformed hook to Sydney’s most famous beach.
