Are you going crazy during these “unprecedented times”? Sorry, I had to.
Well, if your answer is yes, then you’re in luck because the team at Nike are inviting you to attend a special dance workshop with choreographer Parris Goebel’s ReQuest Dance Crew.
An all-female hip-hop dance crew, ReQuest has worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna – so they have the moves you’ll want to learn. It’s the perfect high-energy calorie burn, a fun workout you’ll actually want to do. And don’t worry, the crew has promised it will fit for all experience levels.
Goebel is the creator of the ReQuest crew, but she’s more than just a choreographer; she’s a dancer, singer, director and actress and to many, a style icon. Yes, honey.
Goebel’s right hand woman Corbyn Taulealea Huch has choreographed the easy-to-follow workshop exclusively for Nike. So you won’t see this routine anywhere else. It’s in one of ReQuest’s signature styles with nods to female empowerment and self-expression.

If you can’t get enough of dance, Goebel and Nike will again be teaming up to hold a live community curated Q&A session the following week on Thursday 26th November to inspire women and girls everywhere to express themselves and go after their dreams.
“It’s important for me to empower women through dance because I believe that as women, we need to support each other so we’re able to thrive in life” says Parris.
“It’s through my work and the expression of dance that I am able to get to know and inspire myself, which in turn inspires others. Most importantly, it’s essential for me as a woman to help younger girls realise their potential and help them achieve their goals. This is why I’m excited to be partnering with Nike to share my journey and show other women and girls that anything is possible – you just need to follow your dreams and be fearless in the process.”
To get involved, submit your questions for Parris Goebel, by registering here.
And if you want to tune in to watch with a front-row seat, make sure you head to the Nike Australia YouTube channel at 1:30 pm (AEDT) on Thursday 26 November.
