Before Australian Fashion Week wraps up for another season, cult favourites Ten Pieces once again took to its iconic home of Bondi Icebergs as the destination for their offsite show.
The pool had been drained to leave stark black lines reminiscent of the punk-infused label and with hundreds of attendees towering over the makeshift runway, it made for a vision no amount of production could pull off otherwise.
Synonymous with the contemporary punk aesthetic the label has become known for, Resort 2020 served up a selection of unisex looks cut with an urban sportswear approach.
Models walked around and through the emptied pool showing off the designs and finished the walk right on the pool’s edge, with the stunning Bondi waves as a backdrop, and donning a colour palette of black and white, french navy and vivid red.
Their Resort 2020 collection, ‘Cosmic Runner,’ really focused on the details, with hidden pockets and functional straps to hang your jackets over your shoulder when not worn. This also makes these pieces doubling as a styling accessory. New styles included swimmable shorts, full-fashioned knits, parkas and 70s style tracksuits.
Inspired by their hometown, where the surf meets the city; the line is based on 10 pieces that you can wear in as many different styles that you can think of, with no gender-designation.
