The Internet Invites You To ‘Come Over’ in their New Video Directed By Syd

The Internet frontwoman Syd gets old-school romantic, throwing rocks at her love interest’s window, in the visuals for their new song 'Come Over.' The video, directed by Syd herself, is colourful, funny and oh-so-relatable for anyone who’s been young and in love (or lust). Guilty.

Prior to the release of their new album “Hive Mind” next month, The Internet have shared an inviting music video for their new single, ‘Come Over.’

Directed by the band’s vocalist, Syd, the video follows each member of the band as they spend some romantic time with their significant other in between rehearsals while Syd tries to hold down a boo of her own.

Eventually, love triumphs, and her and the rest of the roommates — Steve Lacy, Matt Martians, Christopher Smith, and Patrick Paige II — relish in colour-coded hangs around the house. Additional cameos by comedian Quinta Brunson and funny quips by the rest of the members throughout keep it light, matching the song’s soft and bouncy groove lines.

The band also announced they will be opening for The Gorillaz in the US to tag on some more dates to their current tour.

The Internet‘s ‘Come Over’ is taken from the new album “HIVE MIND,” set for release on July 20th.
