Anna Quan is the local label to know at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.

Responsible for reinventing the classic white shirt and pushing tailoring boundaries, Sydney-based designer Anna Hoang has been making her now top-selling Anne shirt since 2014, but the style’s boyfriend silhouette and extended cuffs didn’t take off until at least a year later.

That being said, her collection this year included her signature take on tailoring, all of which fit in with her obsession of a well-executed fit – think primary coloured shirts with white stitching in Western motifs that stood out from the crisp, white pack.

The collection was corporate-esque but could also work outside of the office, which is exactly what we love; pieces that can be worn both day and night, or work to play. 😉 Essentially, the pieces shown in her new collection are relaxed but chic.

Of course, white dresses in rumpled fabrics, high-waisted trousers and classic blue and white stripes were featured too, all of which made us want to invest and button up.
