Electronic Music Conference (EMC) Reveals Inaugural Speaker Line-Up for 2017

EMC is returning to Sydney once again this year! Redfern venues Giant Wharf, Cake Wines Cellar Door and The Work-Shop will be hosting the 2-day program, with a lineup of international music leaders and industry experts across a dynamic array of panels, talks, workshops, parties and masterclasses. Electronic Music Conference (EMC) makes a triumphant return to Sydney in 2017, seeing Asia-Pacific’s electronic music community come together for two days of music discovery and collaboration, to celebrate electronic music culture.

Today, EMC has revealed the first dose of an inauguaral line-up of speakers set to descend upon Sydney for a series of panels, workshops, talks and masterclasses at the sixth edition of EMC, taking place from November 29 – November 30, 2017.

EMC will provide thought-provoking, original conference programming involving the combined knowledge and expertise of respected industry leaders and insiders, who navigate today’s musical climate as either successful veterans or trailblazing up-and-comers.

Such panels include Conscious/Unconscious Gender Bias, When Beats Just Don’t Match, Mental Health in Electronic Music, Fighting For The Right To Party, The Cultural Appropriation Tightrope and Safe Spaces along with much more to be announced soon.

With over 80 speakers contributing to EMC, there are still a few line-up announcements to be made so watch this space.
