“[The key is] Do what you want. And you have to believe in what you want even when other people don’t, which is the scary part.” – SZA
Ain’t that the truth! I can relate all too well to what she says right there.^^
VEVO recently tapped songbird SZA as the first host for its “Dinner Party” series. This sit-down occurs shortly after the overwhelming success of her debut studio album, CTRL, in which she pours her heart out with pure passion.
SZA is joined by TDE’s head honcho Punch, CTRL visual director Sage of Art Hoe collective and two lifelong friends. The group reminisces on her journey from dropping out of college to becoming an artist that women around the world admire and relate to.
I absolutely love how candid, vulnerable and honest SZA is in this video and it makes me admire her even more.
