Watch FKA Twigs’ “Baltimore Dance Project” Documentary

Back in July, FKA twigs hosted a free dance workshop in Baltimore alongside her team of choreographers and dancers. It was an open invite to anyone over 18, and select participants were invited to dance with twigs at her Baltimore show. The whole thing was filmed for a new documentary presented by WeTransfer.

FKA Twigs has made a short film titled “Baltimore Dance Project” together with WeTransfer Studios.

It documents the free dance workshops she held back in July together with 400 dancers from the Baltimore area.

A striking black-and-white trailer for the film has just been released, featuring Twigs performing on-stage and slow-motion clips of the dancers in the studio.

A voiceover by one of the dancers says:

I felt like I was welcomed into a community that is just… powerful.
