Washington’s New Video For ‘Saint Lo’ is Visually Stunning

After two years of radio silence, [Megan] Washington has returned with her new single, 'Saint Lo'. The single is an ode to Washington’s early dark, albeit innocent works with an added sense of restlessness. The narrative explores her experience of letting go of people she once trusted in favour of blind opportunity, and the result was a welcomed surprise.

It’s been two years since Aussie songstress [Megan] Washington released a new single and we’re just glad that we were told about it!

Though she has previously used her full name in her music, she lets go of what you would usually expect with her sound and experiments with the wonderings from her “deal with the devil”.

Directed by acclaimed director Nick Waterman, the video captures the return to the dark innocence of Washington’s early evocation and also an evolution of the restless spirit at the heart of all this.

Nick Waterman is a true artist. He understood the emotional DNA from the first moment he heard it and I trusted his vision entirely. This is the freest I have ever felt.

‘Saint Lo’ is all lush, shimmering electronic production layered with Washington’s dark and brooding lyrics brought to life by her gorgeous, smoky vocals.

The visuals accompanying her new single is absolutely stunning!
