Brisbane Songwriter Jordan Rakei Is Coming Home To Play Some Shows

Having carved a solid following across Europe after setting himself up in London, Aussie roots/hip-hop maestro Jordan Rakei will return to Australia next March for a whirlwind East Coast tour in support of his new album.

Jordan Rakei has been whipping up quite the reputation for himself around the globe recently as a must-see artist, with live shows going down incredibly well selling out every show on his Europe and UK tour with added support from The Septembers’ James Chatburn.

Crazy, right?

And now, he’s set to bring his show back down under to his home country to perform songs from his new record, “CLOAK”.

“CLOAK” saw Rakei draw upon an eclectic set of musical and lyrical influences, toying with soul, jazz, hip-hop, psychedelia and afro percussive rhythms.

Bringing his full band along for the ride, the tour kicks off March 17 at Oxford Art Factory, Sydney before taking on Brisbane and Melbourne, with guest appearances from Remi, Ngaiire and Richard Spaven scheduled.
