Jay Prince x Jordan Rakei Don’t Want You To Forget ‘Where You Belong’

London rapper, Jay Prince has enlisted the help of Australia's own soul singer/songwriter Jordan Rakei, to collaborate on their latest track, 'Where You Belong'. The hook is infectious but the song in its entirety delivers an encouraging message we all need reminding of sometimes.

London Rapper Jay Prince has teamed up with Brisbane singer/songwriter Jordan Rakei to collaborate on a feel-good song in the form of ‘Where You Belong’.

In an internet-aged world obsessed with memes, snapchat, and validation through likes, retweets and insta-hearts, it can be quite easy to feel that you’ve lost yourself to all of the above.

I have a love/hate relationship with the internet and social media. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do, but with it comes a lot of drama, gossip, self-doubt and judgment from others. No-one wants to be associated with that, do they?

Jay Prince and Jordan Rakei‘s message is simple: be true to yourself and

Don’t you forget where you belong

This song brings encouragement and good vibes whilst delivering a positive message.

We all need to be reminded of that from time to time.

‘Where You Belong’ is taken from Jay Prince‘s new mixtape, “Smile Good”, which also features Michael Christmas, Danny Seth and Raheaven.

In a press release accompanying the project, Prince describes Smile Good as follows:

“With this mixtape I wanted to highlight the hard times in my life, my background, my upbringing, relationships I have been in and also my religion. All the pivotal moments that have made me who I am at this moment in time.”

“Smile Good” is out now and is worthy of adding to your playlists.
