Pop/R&B singer JoJo is ready to make her long-awaited return.
We have to admit, we were big fans of her back in the day – our high-school days to be exact.
The singer teams with Wiz Khalifa on ‘Fuck Apologies,’ the new single from her first studio album in a decade!
Shot in L.A., the clip was directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Francesco Carrozzini. The Taylor Gang leader kicks it off with his unapologetic verse (“I ain’t apologising for shit, I do what I want”), while JoJo embraces her flaws and all.
“I’m not perfect, I got pride
That’s not what it is this time
So fuck apologies, I would say I’m sorry if I really meant it”
‘Fuck Apologies’ is a moody, R&B-pop kiss-off tune on which she boasts a certain amount of swagger.
JoJo‘s third album, “Mad Love”, will arrive Oct. 14 via Atlantic Records.
Until then, let’s turn the clock back 12 years and listen to her first single below.
