New York fashion label DKNY recently launched the twitter campaign #DxKxNxYx for their 2016 Fall/Winter collection and it went viral in mere hours. Now everyone wants to have the over dimensional DKNY sweater – including us!
They’re black, are grungy yet stylish, comfortable, and they have the street style charm – everything that encapsulates that New York vibe that we love.
Playing on the DKNY acronym, the sweatshirts adorn slogans, printed out in DKNY’s recognisable lettering.
‘Don’t Knock New York’, ‘Dazed Kids New York’ and ‘Designers Know Nothing Yet’ are the options available and we want them all!
And whilst there are only 150 sweaters available, the hefty price tag of US$398 might have us reconsidering… Sad face.
The brand gave away the sweaters to fashion models, which wore them in the period of New York Fashion Week 2016, which was enough for everyone to notice them and want them.
