Watch Parts III and IV of the ‘NOISEY Bompton’ Music Documentary

NOISEY has been taking a tour through Compton, California's music scene with their 'Bompton' series. If you're a fan of Kendrick Lamar or music documentaries, this is a series that should not be slept on. Check out episode 3 and 4 now.

In the third of six segments of “Noisey Bompton”, host Zach Goldbaum stops in on an internet radio show with Bompton artists Boogie, Jay Worthy, Hitta J3, and Kalifornia King Special as they promote their music and take a trip to a hotel later that night to find out how rapper Kalifornia King Special pays his bills.

Then, the team spends some time on Rosecrans Avenue with Hitta J3, whose song ‘Do Yo Gudda’ has become Compton’s latest dance craze. Surrounded by four generations of family, J3 and his mother share stories of the effects gang life has had on their family and neighborhood.

Below sees part 4, titled “Violence Touches All Of Us” and sees NOISEY reach out to the Greater Zion Family Church and talk to Pastor Michael Fisher, getting his opinion on gangster rap within the community and whether crime in Compton is actually receding.
