Radiohead Gifted The World with a Special Christmas Present This Year

In the months leading up to the release of 'Spectre', the 24th instalment in the James Bond movie franchise, Radiohead emerged as the favourites to compose the film’s theme song. Ultimately, producers opted for Sam Smith’s theme, but the rumours were not unfounded. But this Christmas, Radiohead delivered us with a special gift in the form of an unused track (that's available as a free download on their Soundcloud). Listen to it NOW. ~ ‘it didn’t work out, but became something of our own, which we love very much’. - Thom Yorke

It’s been nearly five years since Radiohead’s “The King Of Limbs” was released, but on the eve of Christmas, the band decided to give their devoted fans a gift.

Dropped last night on frontman Thom Yorke’s Twitter account is their rejected theme song for the latest James Bond film, “Spectre” – and as much as I love Sam Smith, this song is so much better than the theme song they decided to go with.

Oh well. At least we get to hear it now, right?
