Sia Makes Us Feel ‘Alive’ Through Her New Video

Australian hitmaker, singer-songwriter Sia has released the visuals for the first offering from her new album. The song, 'Alive' was written originally for powerhouse Adele, but the single was rejected. Craziness! Listen to the single and watch the video that ultimately personifies POWER.

Confession: I thought the only person who belonged in a Sia video [besides the singer herself] was Maddie Ziegler, but clearly, I was wrong.

Continuing her trend of stand-out music videos, Sia just dropped the empowering clip for her single ‘Alive,’ and it features a fierce child wearing the new black-and-blonde Sia wig, performing martial arts in an empty warehouse setting.

Sia directed the video herself along with Daniel Askill, and like Sia herself, it gives us more proof that the Aussie artist can do no wrong.

And much like the video, the song itself is so powerful, celebrating that fact that we are all ‘Alive’.

‘ALIVE’ from Sia’s new album “THIS IS ACTING”, is due for release on January 29, 2016.

No hope, just lies
And you’re taught to cry in your pillow
But I’ll survive

I’m still breathing
I’m still breathing
