Sam Smith is an artist with staying power.
I have no doubts about that, and I’m very much looking forward to seeing him perform live in December. (Did you manage to get tickets?)
ICYMI: Smith was recently chosen to sing the theme song to the new Bond movie – “SPECTRE”, entitled ‘The Writing’s on the Wall’.
And now, we finally have the visuals to match the song, but to be honest, I’m not completely sure how I feel about the song. I haven’t been able to listen to the single in its entirety and the video… well, I’m not sure what the meaning behind it is.
The song is sorta dull (I definitely expected more after absolutely lovin’ “In The Lonely Hour”.) and the video doesn’t really do much to convince me otherwise.
When I found out that Smith was in the running against Ellie Goulding and Radiohead to write the new Bond theme, I really wish it had been the latter. #SorryNotSorry
What do you think? Was it worth all that hype?
