Kendrick Lamar Wants You To Know That He Gon’ Be ‘Alright’

After performing the song live at last weekend's 2015 BET Awards, Kendrick Lamar has premiered some gritty, beautifully shot visuals for his latest single, 'Alright', taken off his much talked about album, "To Pimp A Butterfly". Directed by Colin Tilley, the politically-charged video sees Kendrick floating around the city (thanks to some great stunts and trick shots) and pulls zero punches with regards to the police.

The smooth, soulful single produced by Pharrell from Kendrick Lamar’s magnum opus “To Pimp a Butterfly” has been blessed with a bold, ambitious and cinematic 7-minute video.

There’s no shortage of striking imagery throughout ‘Alright’.

Filmed purely in black and white, the video shows us graphic police brutality, the Los Angeles skyline cast in soft, smoggy light, and Kendrick floating through the city’s streets with fire in his eyes.

Check it out for yourself above.
