Chet Faker has made some exciting announcements during these past 24 hours:
First off, he’s announced three Australian cities that he’ll be performing in towards the end of the year. Some are calling it a tour. To me, three cities? C’mon. Sure, the big cities are there, but what about every other state? Australia has more than three states. #endrant.
These shows, dubbed the “Built On Live” tour, will see Faker perform rarely heard live songs, as well as tunes from his debut album, with an expanded band and special guests, at some of the country’s most prestigious venues.
Ahead of the tour Chet has also released a “new” track, ‘Bend’, which was recorded back in 2013 and cut from “Built on Glass” at the last minute, so it’s not really new – more like unreleased. Nonetheless, listen above.

Yiew! Despite my earlier rant, I’m really looking forward to seeing him perform at the Opera House in Sydney. Fingers crossed for when tickets go on sale. 🙂
