Thom Yorke: Youwouldn’tlikemewhenI’mangry

This is probably the first and last time I'll admit this, but I'm thankful for my brothers for introducing me to the sounds of Radiohead, thus leading to the digging of the work of their frontman, Thom Yorke.

Thom Yorke - Youwouldn’tlikemewhenI’mangry

Thom Yorke is a god.
Thom Yorke is a musical genius.”

How many times have you heard Thom Yorke being described this way by your peers or musical influences?

Well, I’m here to tell you: it’s the truth.

Thom Yorke is an innovative artist that is constantly keeping us listeners/fans on our toes.

A few months ago, the Radiohead frontman released a full surprise album online via BitTorrent. That eight-track album only cost fans $6.00. Now, according to his Twitter, he wants to carry on with this “experimental” way of releasing his music. Yorke’s latest single is available on his Bandcamp page and you can purchase it at whatever price you think is worthy.

Taking a more electronic approach than the live-experimentation I’m used to hearing him play via Radiohead, ‘Youwouldn’tlikemewhenI’mangry’ is in some ways.. the calm before the storm. We’re all familiar with that feeling, right?

By the end of the song, however, you’ll feel like the title and the track itself, is more of a warning, rather than a calm statement.

But in saying that, Thom’s vocals are enough to put you in some sort of a hypnotic trance that will make you forget all that he could be warning you us about.
