‘Am I chasing time? ‘Cause I’m wasting all of mine on you.’
‘Chasing Time’ sounds like Azealia Banks has gone back to her original sound of when she first came to our attention via her “1991” EP with her signature tongue-in-cheek style.
All I can say to that is: Thank God!
Honestly, after all the drama with the Twitter beefs and her record label, it’s nice to see that the 23-year-old has found her way back to music and hasn’t lost that fight inside.
‘Chasing Time’ delivers a catchy, radio-friendly hook, against soulful club vibes, and a punchy-house production by Ronny “Flip” Colson, Oak and Steve Mostyn.
‘I feel like spending my nights alone.’
