A girl can never have too many bags right?
Try telling that to my mother. She thinks I need to cull my entire wardrobe but that’s a different matter altogether. Probably a wise idea not to tell her that my bag collection has grown since I moved to Melbourne hehe.
I think I have an obsession with bags the way other girls can develop a love affair with shoes. I live in flats so you’ll rarely see a pair of heels in my wardrobe but when it comes to bags… well, that’s just a totally different game.
It was difficult deciding what bags to bring with me to Melbourne and if I was completely honest, I think I packed more bags than I did shoes when I came over initially. Crazy. BUT at least I have a vast range to choose from for whatever occasion that arises. 🙂
And now, I have another to add to the growing collection: The new “Currer Laptop Bag” from Crumpler’s BELL collection for women.
Crazy. But A M A Z I N G.
Although the Currer Laptop Bag is designed for women who work, that shouldn’t limit where this bag can be worn.
Made with Oxford Weave peached nylon, the Currer Laptop Bag is weather resistant, soft and complements your day-to-day look with its black-on-black colourway. With all of of Crumpler’s bags though, the lining provides a pop of surprise via its durable polka-dot lining, and you should all know how much I love polka-dots hehe.
Along with a sturdy base, the endless storage compartments and space is ridiculous – and I mean that in a good way.
I recently took the bag interstate during the recent Easter long weekend and along with my laptop, it fit all of my necessities and a few pieces of clothing too! I really did not need anything else. It was the perfect carry-on, fitting right under the seat in front of me. Everything I needed during that weekend was in the Currer Laptop Bag.
What more could a girl ask for?
Alas, I do have one critique:
Unlike The Vegetable From Inside The Mountain, there was an obvious lack of support with the straps for the Currer Laptop Bag, especially around the shoulders.
The straps for the Currer Laptop Bag are thin and are made of “soft satin”, which sounds like it would feel good, but I found that once I put my laptop in the bag, all I could feel on my shoulders was the weight of the laptop. :/
*Much love to Crumpler.
