So if you’ve been keeping up with the Facebook page, you’ll know that whilst I was in Sydney a couple weeks ago, I was also invited to a very special event here in Melbourne. And seeing that I couldn’t be in two places at once (it’ll happen one day..), I sent a couple of friends to the event to capture the debut of KOOKAÏ’s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection: “State of Mind”.
Seeing how neither girls are writers, we have to make do with this photo-only review. Compared to previous runway shows, this year’s invitation came topped with with icing and a cherry in the form of backstage access and front row seats! Wow.
You cannot imagine the jealousy I was feeling when I received the photos sent through from my 5to9 reps. Oh well, they seemed to have fun. Check out their exclusive pics within this post.
“‘State of Mind’ sees the coveted Australian label play with new fabrics and textures while staying true to their staple bold prints and structured designs.
“This season, the collection’s key shapes and silhouettes are focused around the main fabrications for the season- leather, scuba, tweed and 3D texture.”
