Eminem – The Monster

Eminem's latest album is not meant to be released until this Tuesday, but we've already heard three singles from the record, and last week, we heard a fourth. 'The Monster' sees him team up once again with pop megastar Rihanna for a collaboration which sees them use their winning formula time and time again - catchy hooks mixed with Em's signature aggressive verses. A track that will no doubt be making its rounds during the top 40 airplays around the world. Have a listen.

Eminem - The Monster

Let’s look at the facts:
– In 2010, Eminem and Rihanna went to No. 1 for seven weeks straight with ‘Love The Way You Lie’.
– Eminem returned the favour by appearing on ‘Love The Way You Lie (Part II)’, on Rihanna’s “Loud” album.
– Mr Mathers also featured on Rihanna’s album “Unapologetic”, on the 2012 single ‘Numb’.

Eminem and Rihanna have shown time and time again that when they both hit the studio together, they are a force to be reckoned with. Their collaborative efforts are just faultless.

Em gets personal on the track, facing down his demons once again while Rihanna pulls it all together with an epic chorus.

Not quite sure about the random yodelling throughout the song but the rest of the track works.

‘The Monster’ is the fourth track to be lifted from his upcoming album “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”, which is due for official release this week on November 5.
