Follow Me: Somethin’ Bout You

New York's extra-terrestrial electronica duo (Say what?), Follow Me, have released a funky track this work, titled 'Something Bout You'. Follow Me’s cinematic synth-wave works surprisingly well within an R&B context. And whilst there isn't much info on the duo themselves, their remixes and mixtapes definitely speak for them. 'Something Bout You' for instance is a rock solid release. Get ready to dance.

Follow Me - Somethin' Bout You

This is one funky dance jam.

Follow Me are, as they like to describe themselves, “Two Extra-dimensional Shamans sent to this Universe to help guide your Planet through the December 2012 Cosmic Rebirth.”

Whatever they are, Follow Me defintely have a knack for this music thing they’ve got going on. Checking out their Soundcloud, their sounds are filled up with a whole lot of remixes of songs from the 90s RnB era including Brandy’s ‘I Wanna Be Down’, TLC’s ‘Unpretty’, Silk’s ‘Freak Me’, and Aaliyah’s ‘If Your Girl Only Knew’.

But Follow Me have decided to press pause on their remixes for a minute and have released some orignal material in the form of ‘Somethin’ Bout You’ and the result is a funky blend of RnB and electronica.

Intrigued? Press play.

“Boy, there’s something’ bout you
They don’t know
They don’t know…

Boy, you give me chills.”

Also, just wanted to add in that I absolutely adore the artwork on this single (above).
