Nike: Roshe Run

The new Nike Roshe Run are set to be released in stores tomorrow Australia-wide and we've got an exclusive look before they hit the stores! The ROSHERUN - for both men's and women's - features a unique combination of simple lines and a clean aesthetic to produce a great lifestyle and fashion-forward sneaker. The actual design of the shoes are pretty basic. The rounded shape is designed to hug the foot for athletic use and the white sole ensures these shoes won't mark up gym floors during your favorite aerobics class.

Nike Roshe Run - Womens

I received an exclusive look into the new Nike lookbook this week and straight up, the standout piece for me were the new Rosheruns – for women’s, that is!

“The women’s Nike Roshe Run is an ultra-lightweight and breathable shoe that is intended to be versatile, worn with or without socks, dressed up or down, for walking or just taking it easy.”

Damn they’re nice. Don’t you think?
The graphic pattern of black and white speckles reminds me of the cookies and cream ice-cream flavour, which evidently is my favourite! :). Imagine rocking these around the streets?! And even though the colours aren’t so flashy, the speckled paint pattern gives it a subtle pop. Definitely worth a second look.

“Introduced in 2000, the Nike Air woven represented the union of a timeless craft with ground-breaking technology. The unprecedented combination—and the resulting, extraordinary comfort—made the shoe a cult classic.”

“The Roshe Run features a unique combination of simple lines and a clean aesthetic to produce a great lifestyle and fashion-forward sneaker.”

Nike Roshe Run - Mens

Don’t worry, the fellas haven’t been forgotten!

“Nike once again elevates the classic art form in the new men’s Nike ROSHERUN Woven. A shoe that showcases Nike’s determination to obsess and elevate an old world technique in distinctively modern designs. Each pair features artisan-handcrafted upper using time-honoured techniques and only the finest materials.”

The pattern incorporated on the men’s Roshe Run provides us with more of a “woven” technique, and if you look really closely, then you can see the attention to detail that goes into creating that technique against the suede upper. Nicely done.

The new Nike Roshe Run will be available from Nike Stores and selected retailers from April 1st. Hop to it!
