Ta-ku – 25 Nights for Nujabes: Night 24

The second last Night of the Nujabes dedication series ignites memories within and adds a romantic touch. Although it is another short piece, the 75 seconds of music that you hear in Night 24 creates a mood that is more than words could possibly describe - but I still tried. :)

25 Nights For Nujabes - Night 24

“A beat a night for 25 nights in dedication to Seba Jun.
Night 24. On some Brion inspiration again.
– Ta-ku

If you can, try to listen to this Night without any distractions – with the volume turned up.

I first heard this whilst I was in the office and to be completely honest, by the end of this very short tune, I was fighting back a couple of tears.

And every time I listened to it thereafter that initial moment, I still felt like the piece was still able to move me in unimaginable ways. Let me try and break it down a little bit.

It’s quite alluring, but damn, Ta-ku, why did you have to cut it off so quickly?? 🙁

A very delicate, yet rather enticing piece has been created right here with ‘Night 24’. The beginning reminds me of my earlier years for some reason, igniting memories within.

And during the second half, the piano becomes the more dominant sound in the Night, adding a romantic notion to the entire production.

Honestly, the 75 seconds of music that you’re about to hear in ‘Night 24’ is so moving and majestic, that it will leave you wanting so much more.

Only one more Night to go…
