Ladies! Get ready for an epic Girls Night Out – with a little twist!
In 2012, Nike launched the first “Nike She Runs” event in Australia with HUGE success, and this year, Nike hopes to repeat that same outcome with the all female night run.
“The only event of its kind in Australia, Nike She Runs celebrates and empowers runners by creating platform for women to experience a race like no other, while connecting them with a like-minded community, both physically and digitally.”
The inaugural “Nike She Runs” event challenges and inspires runners of every ability to unite as a community and reach their physical goals. This evening event will provide a safe environment to empower female runners to celebrate their love for running and their city.
2013 also brings some new introductions with the ‘Nike Running Den’, a custom built pop-up space in Ultimo, offering runners an opportunity to get race ready – with digital registration access, gait analysis, bra fitting and merchandise available. The ‘Nike Running Den’ opens on 1 March, 2013.
Juliana Nguyen, Marketing Director of Nike Pacific says: “We are finding more ways to connect runners physically, through training groups, as well as digitally, with a fully engaged social experience that will be tied to the event. We have created a race experience that will genuinely engage and inspire any level of runner. So whether you are a cheetah – leading from the front, a lioness – running to set a new PB or a Tigress – running to just finish and enjoy – Run Unleashed has you covered.”
On 4 May 2013, thousands of women will return to Sydney’s iconic Centennial Park to conquer the night and connect with other avid runners. Will YOU be joining them?
