Mister Lui: Gaffa Studio Artists Show 2012

A great mate of mine has recently ventured into jewellery design and the results are truly something. His first show will be held next month at the Gaffa Gallery and you'd be a fool not to check it out! Gaffa Studio Artist’s Show is open 10th – 16th December Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm and Saturday 11am – 5pm. 281 Clarence Street CBD 2000

One of my old mates from Uni, Huon Lui, has recently changed his interest of creativity from Industrial Design to Jewellery Design. And after some intense months of working hard in his studio, he is finally going to have his first show in Sydney to promote not only his brand, Mister Lui, but to also showcase and sell all his handmade efforts!

“Mister Lui embodies a bright minded crafts person who loves to make things. Choosing to translate creative thoughts through the means of jewellery, objects, art and every day utensils.

Based in Sydney, Australia, Mister Lui’s works are created out of passion and come to realisation and reality through the design process.

Mister Lui brings a service to those who want unique objects and artworks that are made to order and fuse a bond between object and its owner.”

If you like what you see, head on down to the Gaffa Gallery from December 10-16 to check out his work.

“Gaffa Studio Artists are serving up a veritable smorgasbord of original handcrafted jewellery hot from their studio benches for the very first Gaffa Studio Artist’s Show.

We warmly invite you to attend this unprecedented event in which purchases of unique and limited edition designs can be made the very instant you lustily fall in love with them.

Please join us for opening night drinks and festivities in Arcade Four @ Gaffa Gallery on Thursday 13th December from 6-8pm.”

Participating Studio Artists include Lui, as well as Leonie McRae, Amy Robson, Sonya Scott, and Francisca Rendic, just to name a few. Hit up the Facebook Event Page for more details.

But if you’re not in town during that time, check out Mister Lui’s website to see his current collections.
