Everpurse

I don't know about you but my iphone is something that I always keep close by. One of three things I always leave the house with, the iphone is the one gadget where I can quickly jot down notes on the go, respond to important emails and listen to my favourite music. And with all the things I rely on my iphone for, by the end of the day, my iphone is usually down to its last percentage of battery. But now, there is a potential solution to that problem. A great one, in fact.

This has to be one of the best ideas I’ve seen in a long time! A problem all of us come across when we stay out late at night. Although I’ll admit, I haven’t been one to stay out drinking and dancing until the early hours of the morning lately, I’ve definitely been in that situation when my iphone gives me the notification that my battery is less than 20%.

Enter the Everpurse.

The Wow effect. Blind, first-time reactions to the Everpurse. from Everpurse on Vimeo.

Everpurse is the brainchild of Liz Salcedo, who, like me, wanted a way to charge her phone that wasn’t clunky or cumbersome and created a sleek pouch that’s wireless, surprisingly chic, and charges your phone as soon as you slide it into its inner pocket. When you come home at the end of the day, throw your bag on the charging mat and it’s ready to go again after six hours.

Everpurse currently comes in six colours and styles, in either cloth or leather, and even accommodates the newest iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.

Like many other sprouting ideas, this potential lifesaver is currently climbing the ranks on Kickstarter, with pledges starting at $99 — which, in all honestly, seems like a pretty fair price to never be left stranded with a dead cellphone ever again. They’ve already reached their goal of $100,000 to produce the purses Awesome idea!
