Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee: Mad Man in a Death Machine

Ricky Gervais seemed to pray for his safety in a car ride with Jerry Seinfeld more than he laughed, but the laughs were plentiful as the two friends went before the cameras in the second episode of 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee'.

Even though ‘Seinfeld’ was typically referred to as a show about nothing, each episode actually had a pointed message and a distinct story line. Apparently angry that ‘Seinfeld’ actually was about something, Jerry Seinfield is now back with a show that is literally about absolutely nothing. And I mean nothing.

First, let’s break down the title:
Are there comedians in the show? Yes.
Are there cars? Yep.
And what about coffee? Of course, there’s coffee!
So, yes, on all three accounts.

Jerry Seinfeld’s new web video series “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” kicked off last month with the first episode featuring ‘Seinfield’ executive producer Larry David, and this week, the second episode sees Seinfield riding in the car with English comedian Ricky Gervais. The video is actually pretty entertaining – as we see Gervais fearing for his life as Seinfield drives him to get coffee.
